Our supplier C²I² Systems designs and manufactures a range of boards and adapters in PMC, PC/104 Plus (specifically PCI-104), PCI form factors, as well as 3U VPX and 3U and 6U Compact PCI (cPCI), which offer maximum compatibility, performance, flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
All their PMC, VPX and cPCI Adapters are available in two cooling versions, conduction-cooled and air-cooled.
The conduction-cooled versions have a -40 C to +85 C temperature specification.
Three air-cooled grades are offered:
Ruggedised : -40 C to +85 C
Industrial : -15 C to +75 C
Commercial : 0 C to +55 C
These boards and adapters offer a range of Software Drivers for Real-Time Operating Systems The adapters are offered with VxWorks, Linux, Windows Legacy software drivers as standard, with others as costed options.
The PC/104 Plus Adapters are offered in ruggedised, industrial and commercial grades, while the PCI Adapters are available in industrial and commercial grades. All of the adapters have flexible I/O options, i.e. fibre, copper, front panel and rear connector (backplane).
They offer a range of voltage-isolated cPCI and VPX boards. Voltage isolation is 2 500 V RMS on the I/O channels and 500 V RMS on the cPCI or VPX backplane connectors.
Functionality includes digital I/O, analogue I/O, analogue-to digital I/O and serial I/O.

8 CHANNEL SERIAL IO XMC
The 8-Channel Ultra High-Speed Serial I/O XMC Adapter provides eight channels of simultaneous, high-speed (>20 Mbit/s), bi-directional serial communications. All channels are jumper configurable as RS232/422/485. This adapter also supports a number of UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) (<1 Mbit/s) channels.

MULTI-FUNCTION IO
The Multi-Function Input / Output (I/O) PMC / XMC Adapter offers a number of I/O types of data interfacing requirements not normally available in such combination. As standard, the Multi-Function I/O Adapter provides two dual-redundant MIL-STD-1553B channels, three transmit and six receive ARINC 429 channels, 16 Mbit Non-Volatile Random-Access Memory (NVRAM) and four RS-232 or RS-422/485 channels.
16 CHANNEL ADC-DAC
The 16-Channel Analogue-to-Digital Converter (ADC) and Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC) XMC Adapter (ADC / DAC Adapter) offers eight 16-bit DAC and eight 16-bit ADC channels routed to the Backplane I/O connector Pn4. The ADC and DAC channels are controlled by a Xilinx Spartan-6 Series FPGA that can be accessed via PCIe through the XMC connector. The ADC / DAC Adapter can also optionally be configured as a PMC Adapter, accessing the FPGA via PCI through PMC connectors.
